Royal Match Partner Events Guide: Dragon Nest and Train Journey
Compare Dragon Nest and Train Journey, including level 76 eligibility, partner selection, event currencies, shared progress, milestone rewards, and expiration.
By RoyalMatch.wiki Editorial Team
Partner events let two players contribute toward shared milestones. Royal Match currently documents two major formats: Dragon Nest and Train Journey.
Both unlock at level 76, use event currency earned through level wins and other eligible events, and allow partners from friends, Team members, or a suggestions list. Their structure is different, so confirm which event is active before planning.

Dragon Nest
Dragon Nest asks you to raise four Dragons, each with one other player.
Current official flow:
Reach level 76.
Beat a level while the event is active.
Collect Magic Balls from levels or other eligible events.
Use Magic Balls to receive Magic Tokens.
Apply shared progress to a Dragon.
Complete each Dragon's three stages.
Finish all four Dragons to claim the Grand Prize and Special Dragon Nest frame.
Hard, Super Hard, and Extremely Hard levels currently award extra Magic Balls.
Choosing Dragon Nest partners
You can match with:
Friends.
Suggested players.
Team members.
Each Dragon has its own partner. Consider filling one or two partnerships thoughtfully before opening all four at once.
Train Journey
Train Journey asks you to build nine Rails with three partners.
Current official flow:
Reach level 76.
Beat a level while the event is active.
Collect Trains from levels or other eligible events.
Use Trains to receive Rail Tokens.
Apply shared progress toward Rails.
Build three Rails with each partner.
Finish all nine to claim the Grand Prize and Special Train Journey Name Style.
The event includes extra rewards at three, six, and nine completed Rails.
Hard, Super Hard, and Extremely Hard levels currently award extra Trains.
How to choose a partner
A player's past activity can help you choose, but it cannot guarantee how much they will contribute.
Look for:
Recent activity.
A history of contributing in your Team or friend group.
Similar play frequency.
Clear expectations.
Willingness to contribute without sharing credentials or money.
Avoid assuming that:
A high level guarantees event participation.
A profile frame proves reliability.
A suggested player is guaranteed to finish.
Every partner will contribute equally.
Shared events are cooperative, but another player always controls their own resources and schedule.
Invite timing strategy
Do not fill every slot immediately
If you have trusted active partners, start there. Leaving a slot open briefly can be better than locking it to a random player before understanding your own pace.
Balance progress
Check all active partnerships before placing more event progress. A nearly completed milestone may be more valuable than spreading currency equally without reaching a reward.
Keep your contribution realistic
Do not promise completion based on currency you have not earned. Level difficulty, lives, and the event timer can change what is possible.
Use Team communication safely
You can coordinate inside the Team, but never share login details or let another person access the account. A partner needs only the official event connection.
Currency conversion and chance
Both events describe spending one item to obtain a progress token:
Magic Balls produce Magic Tokens.
Trains produce Rail Tokens.
Use the live interface for the exact result range and animation. RoyalMatch.wiki does not claim a hidden distribution or “best tap timing” without an official source.
There is no evidence in the official rules that a particular animation timing changes the result. Treat timing tricks and guaranteed-spin claims skeptically.
What happens when the event ends?
Dream Games explicitly says:
Remaining Dragon Nest Magic Balls cannot be used after Dragon Nest ends.
Remaining Train Journey Trains cannot be used after Train Journey ends.
Check the timer before earning or purchasing more currency. Do not expect items to carry into a later partner event.
Before expiration:
Review every active partnership.
Apply remaining usable currency.
Claim completed milestone rewards.
Capture the event screen if a completed reward appears missing.
Avoid a last-minute purchase unless the live progress makes its value clear.
Which partner event is better?
They are different active formats, not permanent alternatives you can always choose between.
Dragon Nest spreads progress across four Dragons with four one-to-one partnerships. Train Journey spreads nine Rails across three partners and explicitly marks rewards at three, six, and nine Rails.
The better use of resources depends on:
Which event is active.
Partner participation.
Current progress.
Visible rewards.
Time remaining.
