Royal Match Events: Unlock Levels and How Rotations Work
A Royal Match event guide covering unlock levels, solo, competitive, Team, and partner formats, and why an event may not appear.
By RoyalMatch.wiki Editorial Team
Royal Match runs many limited-time events, but they do not all use the same rules. Some are solo milestone tracks, some are races or tournaments, some require a Team, and others pair you with partners.
The event icon and in-game information panel are always the source of truth for the live start time, end time, rewards, and eligibility. This guide explains the stable structure without inventing a universal calendar.
Event unlock levels
Dream Games publishes unlock requirements on individual event help pages. Frequently searched examples include:
Feature or event: Team Battle · Current documented requirement: Level 23 and a qualifying Team
Feature or event: Team Treasure · Current documented requirement: Level 23 and Team membership
Feature or event: Team Tournament · Current documented requirement: Level 23 and a qualifying Team
Feature or event: Royal Pass · Current documented requirement: Level 37
Feature or event: King's Tales · Current documented requirement: Level 76
Feature or event: Dragon Nest · Current documented requirement: Level 76
Feature or event: Train Journey · Current documented requirement: Level 76
These thresholds were verified on July 24, 2026. They are not a complete list of every event, and Dream Games can update eligibility. Check the relevant official page if the game and this table disagree.
Main event formats
Solo progress events
Solo events award progress for actions such as beating levels, collecting an event item, or completing an event-specific board. King's Tales is a current example of a larger solo map event.
Competitive events
Competitive formats rank players by a defined measure or ask players to progress through a race. The number of opponents, scoring item, tie behavior, and reward positions vary by event.
Do not carry rules from one competition into another. King's Cup, Sky Race, Champions Clash, and Royal League are distinct modes.
Team events
Team events combine members' contributions or compare Teams. Current documented examples are Team Battle, Team Treasure, and Team Tournament.
They can require:
A minimum account level.
Team membership.
A minimum Team size.
At least one qualifying contribution.
An internet connection.
Leaving or changing Teams during an active event can make you ineligible. Read the Team Events guide before switching groups.
Partner events
Partner events divide progress between paired players. Dragon Nest uses four one-partner dragons; Train Journey uses three partners across nine rails.
Partner selection matters because shared progress depends on another person's participation. See the Partner Events guide.
Pass tracks
Royal Pass is a monthly 30-step feature with free rewards and optional paid special rewards. It uses keys earned through level wins. The Royal Pass guide separates the free track from the purchase benefits.
Why an event may not appear
A missing event does not necessarily indicate a bug.
Check:
Unlock level. The account may not meet the event's requirement.
Rotation. A documented event may not be active right now.
Team eligibility. Some modes require Team membership or a minimum Team size.
Entry action. A first level win may be required to enter or start collecting currency.
Connectivity. Competitive and Team events require current server state.
Game version. Install the latest compatible official app-store update.
Live interface. An event may have ended or entered a final-spend period.
If those checks do not resolve it, use the in-game support path and provide the event name, device platform, game version, and a screenshot that does not expose private account information.
Event currency usually expires
Limited-time currencies are normally scoped to their event. Official pages explicitly say, for example, that unused Dragon Nest Magic Balls and Train Journey Trains cannot be used after the event.
King's Tales provides a final chance to use Energy Crystals, but quitting after that point loses remaining currency and current progress.
The safe rule is:
Check the live timer.
Read the event's end-state message.
Spend intentionally before the stated deadline.
Do not assume currency transfers into the next rotation.
How to evaluate an event
Before committing coins or boosters, ask:
What action earns event progress?
Does a failed level earn anything?
Are hard levels worth extra currency?
Is progress personal, shared, or ranked?
What is the next reachable reward?
Will unused currency disappear?
Does changing Teams or partners affect eligibility?
An event is not automatically worth exhausting your level resources. Compare its next milestone with the value of lives, coins, and boosters required to reach it.
Frequently asked questions
Are all Royal Match events available every day?
No. The Help Center documents many time-limited formats, and the live rotation determines which are active.
What level unlocks Royal Match events?
There is no single unlock level for every event. Requirements vary; several Team events currently use level 23, Royal Pass uses level 37, and King's Tales, Dragon Nest, and Train Journey use level 76.
Do event items carry over?
Do not assume so. Several official event pages explicitly say unused currency cannot be used after the event.
Can I change Teams during a Team event?
Changing or leaving can remove eligibility or block participation in the ongoing event. Review that event's current rules first.
Where is the Royal Match event calendar?
Open the event icons in your game to see what is active and how much time remains. Past appearances do not guarantee the next start date.
